February swimmer of the month

Swimmer of the month FebruaryOrla – put in some great work in Lanzarote – with a top attitude. Improved frequency and quality of training throughout February!
Lili – the life and soul of the party in Lanzarote and getting better and better in the pool every day!
Ella – impressed immensely in training in Tier 3 so far – with a positive and smiley outlook!
Abby – made a huge improvement in her training this month – reflected in her Time Trials performances too.
Emily – trained and raced positively throughout the month!
Airlie – advanced technically on all strokes in February!
Adam – regular attender who’s thriving in SwiFT.

Swimmer of the month – January

January Swimmers of the monthLizzie – overcame a difficult month – maintaining excellent attendance while suffering with injury. Grasped the opportunity to focus on her kick.
Jedrzej – has been a close contender for Tier 2 SotM every month so far and showed real maturity and increased belief in his racing this month!
Max – has managed the move to Tier 3 magnificently. Maximising his opportunity to train more – all with a marvellous attitude.
Harrison – prepared well for his move to Tier 3 with an excellent month of listening, learning and loving swimming!
Emma – made significant improvements in her butterfly technique and timing.
Anthi – a recent recruit, she’s gone from strength to strength! Always puts 100% effort into her training.

Swimmer of the month – November

Technical hitch with the photos this month but they can all be seen on Instagram and Facebook.

Tier 1: Alice – has continued to be a real team player and contributed massively to both the club’s social media output and the squad Secret Santa organisation!
Tier 2: Emily – shown herself to be a swimmer of real potential and consistently working hard and smart in all the right areas!
Tier 3: Darragh – made a significant improvement in his attendance and been a cheerful regular at the Monday AM sessions!
Tier 4: Nikolay – trained diligently on every occasion and has become faster and more efficient on all strokes!
Tier 5: Rachel – displayed great attention to detail on all her strokes and demonstrated a fantastic racing spirit!
Tier 6: Amy – brought a great attitude to every training session and made positive technical changes to her butterfly!
Swift: Thea – attempted and improved a range of drills and smashed her underwater work this month!

Christmas Sprint Results

Club celebration night 2022

There was a fantastic turnout on Friday 11th November at the Royal High school rugby club for our first celebration night since 2019. President Alison Grant supported by coaches Michal, Finlay and Ellie presented trophies to the winners of individual events and the top 6 in each age group.

Swimmer of the month – October

It’s time to unveil the October Swimmer of the Month award winners!
Erica – all round top class effort this month and 😁😁😁 aplenty!
Nikodem – demonstrated daily desire, discipline and dedication.
Alanya – exceptional attendance, exemplary attitude to her training and great results at the Warrender Meet.
Cameron – made huge improvements all round – especially on his butterfly technique and dive starts.
Murray – making considerable technique improvements on all strokes and consistently excellent performances at the recent competition.
Owen – put in a massive effort to improve his breathing and turns.
Finn – King of Social Kick!

Delighted to announce the Swimmer of the Month award winners for September!
Thanks again to @harmoniesinwood for the fantastic awards.
Lucy – positive attitude and an improvement in attention to detail and consistency!
Alejandro – moved himself in all areas so far this season and quickly taken on coaching points!
Isabella – shown a real desire to challenge herself – including tacking all events at the Club Champs. Top attendance!
Lucas – improved massively since moving to Tier 4. Butterfly technique has improved after focusing on it every session!
Freya – attending every session with a positive attitude has seen her come on leaps and bounds this month!
Lauren – sporting superstar supreme!
